Services Departments
The Student Services Organization is part of USS
(Undergraduate Education, Student Affairs and Student
Services) and is comprised of the following departments:
- Career Services
Tufts Career Services offers an array of
services and programs to help you with all facets of
career development and job hunting. As early as your
freshman year, you are encouraged to visit Career
Services to explore the link between your major and
work options, and to gain insights into career
possibilities for you.
- Financial Services
At Tufts we believe that coordinating all the varied
aspects of student finance within one centralized
location enables us to provide an efficient means
through which we can help you to make a Tufts education
financially attainable.
- Health
and Counseling Services
Health Services strives to maintain the physical,
psychological, and social health of students through an
interdisciplinary team approach of providing primary
care and promoting health education and wellness.

Registrar
The Registrar is the custodian of student records. The
office is also responsible for preparing the class and
examination schedule, registration, add/drop,
examination administration, grade recording, transcript,
enrollment verification, and classroom assignments.
- Student
Services Desk
The Student Services Desk (the "Dowling Desk") is your
one stop resource place. Established to minimize
bureaucracy, the Student Services Desk Team is
dedicated to providing centralized walk-in,
telephone and email service to students, parents and
staff. Their mission is to answer questions and
resolve issues regarding registration, financial,
academic and career matters. Each of the
representatives has been trained extensively and
will either satisfy your needs or refer you to the
next level. We can provide ONE STOP assistance.

The Administrative Support Staff provides support to all Student Services departments
and student academic issues.

The Technology Team understands where technology can
be implemented to improve the accuracy, timeliness,
and delivery of information to enhance customer
service.
