MAY 1

May day is a big day for materials due to us. As stated in the instruction packet, on May 1 you should have in your file:
        a) All individual letters you want used in your composite/committee letter (this MUST include a at least one Tufts AS&E  professor)
        b) Unofficial copies of all transcripts from outside Tufts where you earned credit (we get your Tufts transcript)

No one will interview you unless all these materials are on file at least 48 hours prior to scheduled interview. To check if they are in your file, please contact the Front Desk staff at 617-627-2000.

Also by May 1, we need to know which committee member is interviewing you. Many members are already full. Please email committee members and let us know – hprc@ase.tufts.edu – who is interviewing you in the coming months.

TRANSCRIPT BLACKOUT

You should know about the annual transcript blackout which this year is Monday, April 27th through Tuesday, May 26th. Do not worry about this. You should be working on your central applications during May and June and will have plenty of time if transcripts go out in late May/early June. I will write more about transcript requests in a coming email, plus there are clear instructions with all the central applications.

AMCAS/AACOMAS workshop

Friday, May 1, 3:30 in Eaton 206 we are holding an optional workshop for those of you applying to medical school.  The applications open next week so we want to have the chance to review basic instructions and answer questions. We will be following up with various reminders and highlighting instructions in future emails, but this is a good chance to get an overview and ask questions.

Regards,
Carol
