Preregistration Panel with Upperclassmen sponsored by the Premed Society on Wednesday, November 11th during open block in Dowling 745B.

Doing your best is important – more than a timeline. Don’t rush to get through your science classes, and do not worry about “catching up.” Better to move slowly towards success than to rush to failure.

Knowing when the sciences are offered is important. For example, you can start biology (Bio 14), chemistry (Chem 1) or physics (Physics 11) in the spring but you cannot start organic, nor can you start the non-calc physics (physics 1). Here at Tufts, you can do chemistry, organic and physics in the summer, but not biology.

DO NOT STRESS too much about this registration period.
You should make wise decisions about spring courses in consultation with your advisor. But remember – your final decisions will not be made until January. Then you will have had time to reflect back on your fall semester, how well you did, what courses you enjoyed, and think further about your future plans.
