Founded in 1993, the center serves the overall needs of the Latino/a student population and others on campus by providing a supportive environment, fostering pride in the Latino culture, and serving as a resource to the entire Tufts community. The center sponsors events including Latino Heritage Month in October. It coordinates the Latino Peer Advisor Program for first-year students and also offers counseling and advising on both academic and personal issues. The center also sponsors and coordinates programming with ALAS, La Casa, Latino Men’s Group, and Mujeres. A library of books, magazines, and videos as well as a computer lab are available for all students.
