Non-Tufts Programs

Overview

Each year more than five hundred Tufts students study abroad for part of their undergraduate education. The purpose of these guidelines is to help Tufts students make informed decisions about foreign study opportunities. This section contains information on foreign study advising at Tufts, academic requirements, administrative procedures, alternatives to foreign study, and foreign study programs recommended for credit at Tufts. Please visit Abroad101.com to log in and read evaluations of programs.

These guidelines are addressed specifically to those students considering non-Tufts sponsored foreign study programs. Those interested in the Tufts programs in Chile, China, Ghana, Hong Kong, Japan, London, Madrid, Oxford, Paris, and Tübingen should consult the section about Tufts Programs Abroad.

Please navigate to further information about studying abroad on non-Tufts programs via the menu on the left-hand side of this page. Please also check out the calendar of upcoming NT visits.
