Paying Your Bill
Students are required to pay tuition, fees, room, and board prior to the start
of each semester. Bills for the first semester must be paid by the first week
in August; second semester bills are due and payable by the second week in December.
The amount billed is reduced by any financial aid awarded by or sent to the
university on behalf of the student for the semester. Payment in full (after deduction
for financial aid) must be made before each term by check payment. Detailed
information about the AMS TuitionPay financing plan is sent to all students in April.
eBilling
Tufts University bills tuition and fees electronically. Complete details can be found
at
Tufts eBill.
Late Fee Policy
Late fees will be calculated based on 1.5% of the outstanding balance on student accounts.
This percentage will be charged on a monthly basis as long as an outstanding balance remains.
Any previous balance on an account is due upon receipt as stated on the bill. Bills
that are not paid by the due date will be subject to the late fee assessment.
