Summer Study
Summer Session Loans
Federal Direct Loan funds may be available for
Summer study under the following very specific
circumstances:
- You have not used up your full Direct loan
eligibility during the academic year, AND
- You take a minimum of two courses,
both at Tufts.
You may look at your award on
SIS Online to see if you have reached your
maximum grade level Stafford borrowing. See
Loan Limits for grade level maximum amounts.
If you believe you have eligibility for the loan
you must read, complete and submit a Summer
Contract, available from your Aid Counselor, or at
the Student Services Desk, and which can also be
downloaded
here.
Summer Session Scholarship
There are a limited number of small scholarships
available for study in either summer session at
Tufts. Priority will go to the highest need
students, particularly those who are Pell grant
recipients. The tuition only scholarship is
for up to two courses, maximum. Download the Summer
Scholarship form and submit this before
March 1.
