Online Exit Counseling

Federal regulations require all Federal Direct and Perkins Loan borrowers to participate in Exit Loan Counseling Interviews.

When you leave Tufts the Exit loan mandatory requirement can be accomplished by going to the websites listed below. Please have available the following information: 1) social security number, 2) driver's license number, 3) name, address and telephone number of THREE references, and 4) name, address and telephone number of expected employer, if available.

Please note that a separate Exit Interview must be done for EACH loan program from which you have borrowed.

FEDERAL PERKINS LOAN

TUFTS INSTITUTIONAL LOAN

FEDERAL STAFFORD LOAN:  Undergraduate students only

FEDERAL STAFFORD LOAN AND/OR GRAD PLUS:  Graduate students only

Loan borrowers who drop below half-time enrollment status or withdraw must also complete the Exit Loan Counseling requirement.
